Introduction:
A great Master, when asked to explain why the game had fascinated him for more than half a century, replied that chess, " like love, like music, has the power to make men and women happy"To enjoy chess, you dont have to be great master, you only have to be a little better than your opponents.
What is important is to get off a good start to have a clear picture of the basic rules of the game. Then you can go on to learn the chess notation, so that you can record your games, and play over games from books in order to improve your game, or merely to enjoy beautiful artistic chess.
