The Walking Path Project
(this site is under construction and
the pathway is dream that needs your help)

The walking path project aligns with Midtown's commitments to provide a secure and nurturing environment for its children and to bring its residents outdoors.  More residents walking through the neighborhood ensures an enhanced sense of belonging while reducing crime.  In a community sorely lacking in sidewalks, a path would provide a safe place for recreation and exercise as well as providing an alternative to driving.

WalkingInfo.org has a site that describes what other communities are doing to promote pedestrian resources.
