This is your GARDEN DISTRICT NEWSLETTER January 2000

HAPPY NEW MILLENNIUM!

The Midtown Neighborhood Association would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our neighbors a very prosperous New Year! We had a wonderful turnout for our annual Winter Holiday Party! Officers Frank Domanico and Roman Abramov were honored for their service and commitment to our neighborhood. Audrey Marr was honored with the prestigious "Golden Tamale" Award for her effort above and beyond in selling the rest of the tamales. Way to go Audrey!

THANKS!!

We need to give a special thank you to the Tucson Appliance Company. They donated the use of two freezers in which to keep the tamales. We were only supposed to have the freezers through the end of October but they let us keep them until the last tamale was sold.
